Geography



Mexico has a very diverse Geography, with deserts to the north, moutains to the west, and rainforests to the south. Each has a diverse ecosystem and terrain.

About 40% of Mexico is desert. The Chihuahuan Desert alone is home to over 400 different spieces of animals, including foxes, birds, turtles, deers, lizards, and more!
About 35% of Mexico is rainforest. There are over 2000 diverse species of animals and over 25000 different plant species in these forests. In total, Mexico makes up around 12% of the worlds Biodiversity.
